Occurs when clicking on the songs menu and selecting SongSelect Lyric Service. This issue is caused by multiple or incorrect copies of the PSAPI.dll file that are installed on your computer by an internet service provider.


  1. Close all unneeded programs and all Internet windows


  2. Left click on Start and then on Search


  3. In the left pane of the search window, click on "All Files and Folders"


  4. In the left pane of the search window in the "Name" box type PSAPI.dll


  5. In the left pane of the search window, left click on the "More Advanced Options" selection


  6. Make certain there is a check mark in "Search Hidden Files and Folders"


  7. Make certain there is a check mark in "Search System Folders"


  8. Make certain there is a check mark in "Search Subfolders"


  9. Make certain the "Look in" box is searching in "Local Hard Drives"


  10. Left click on the Search Button



You should only have one PSAPI.dll file in c:/windows/system32. All others should be renamed.


  1. Right click on the PSAPI.dll file that is not in the system32 folder and then left click on rename


  2. Using the arrow keys on your keyboard, navigate to ad delete the dll and replace it with the letters "old"


  3. Press enter to complete the renaming process


  4. Repeat on each PSAPI.dll file except for the file in the system32 folder.


  5. Reboot your computer.
